Thanks for posting this @Jujoe
I will have a listen to the compilation album 'Family Tree' this evening which has this song, and many others which weren't on the studio albums.
Nick Drake was a really special talent.
I was introduced to his music in 1976 by a friend who knew him and John Martyn.
Edit: For anyone who is interested, this is the compilation album of home and demo recordings:

RED ALERT!!!!

And what a ride..... Indeed
Kahvi Collective has evolved to be right now, in one of the most creative and influential as well record labels in the contemporary electronica music scene
Maybe it would suit better to say in the recent Avant Garde music scene

At this brilliant compilation all those participating in, they have to pick up to five 70s funk tracks at random.....
After that, creating new instruments out of those pieces their goal is to create a brand new track from those instruments
4T Thieves...
Faex Optim...
& Kri Tik...are only a few of the highlights offered here.....
In pure terms of creativity and artistic freedom this is a true gem...........
Open your mind..... Discover the inner James Brown in you... and let no prejudice get in the way of your music perception....
FM Synthesis..
Drum programming..
Ableton live..
Processed acoustic instruments..
Heavy processed 70s sampling..
Tapes and loops..
All lies there..... where inspiration and free wil of choise give birth to unearthed masterpieces like these presented here...
Do not be afraid of this funky ride
Just take your seat and start dreaming..

Happy magic listenings.... :astonished: :scream_cat:

Some albums withstand the test of time for substance & sonic qualities.
Personally, this is one of 'em...

I try to get ahead
But I don't get ahead this way
