Great live recordings. The Fillmore East album is famous, of course, as one
of the best live recordings ever. The Cow Palace is a total different animal ...
Duane and Berry were dead by 1973 and the GD were not playing that night,
so Jerry and Bill Kreutzmann showed up to jam with the Allmans. Jerry and
Dickie Betts playing together is quite a treat! Gregg and Butch had been
"dosed" by Bear, so unable to perform. Boz Scaggs handily stepped in on vocals.

I had the 7'' single of 'Brontosaurus' when it came out and loved it!
What a brilliant, heavy song that was.
The band had 9 top 20 singles in the UK!
