What Are You Listening To Right Now?

Back in '68 I was a freshman in college. Loved Oh Well Parts 1&2 when heard on underground FM at the time. I rushed out to buy Then Play On, the album available at the time. Who knew Oh Well wasn't on the LP. It came out on the LP a bit later when it was re-issued by the label to take advantage of the hit status of Oh Well. Danny Kirwan lost 2 songs to make room.

What a great story @BagelJoe . You were way ahead of me in appreciating early Fleetwood Mac.

My excuse is that I am a bit younger than you.... but not a lot

Three Pickers - The Three Pickers.jpg
Live performance from 2003 organized by PBS in North Carolina. Tremendous
musicianship is displayed. Guests include Richard Watson (Doc's grandson),
Alison Krauss and Ricky's band Kentucky Thunder.

Nitty Gritty Dirt Band - Will the Circle Be Unbroken (30th Anniversary - Disc 1).jpg
One of my favorite albums all time, it also features Doc and Earl along with
great singers: Roy Acuff, Jimmy Martin, Merle Travis and Mother Maybelle.
Pitch perfect.

True for sure! Walk into any bar on lower Broadway and the local musicians will be pickin' and grinnin' ... just be sure to wear a mask :)
