Act 1 - Birth Of Rock 'n' Roll Days

Just revisiting this over-the-top kitsch classic. Jim Steinman (the man behind 'Bat out of Hell' etc.) assembled some brilliant singers and created a completely nuts album about love, sex and death. Ken Russell directed the video to the song It's all coming back to me now, which should tell you something.

Bonkers, overblown, tongue-in-cheek and very noisy.

Swans, To Be Kind

15 year old daughter: What is that crap?
Me: Swans. It's my favorite album from last year
Daughter: That guy sounds like he's in  cult
Me: Yeah, that's kind of the point, I guess. It's artsy. It's not pop music
Daughter: Your music is so weird

No radio pop music for me. Yeah, this is my favorite album from last year. So, I guess I am kind of wierd
