Despite his stereotypical emo facade ... this guy has more than earned his stripes as (IMHO) one of the most interesting songwriters of the past 10 years.

Don't judge a book by it's cover (or hair-do!).

I'm so dang happy this guy came along cause after the brief thrill of Hothouse Flowers in the 80's and Grant Lee Buffalo in the 90's ... I wasn't sure who else might appear that could hold my attention once we hit 2000.

Anyway ... enough posturing.

Bright Eyes = Worth Checking out.
