FS: Early Production AKG K240 Sextetts (EP)
Greetings all.
Up for sale today is a pair of what I understand are early production AKG K240 Sextetts (due to their orange radiators). Love the way these sound, I just love my others more, so this has to go for now.
Conditionwise, these are pretty good, with one obvious flaw. The headband has just one of the tiny little side cracks that seem to plague these headphones, the pads are still nice and puffy, and there are no significant marks of any kind on earpieces except for a very small nick on the edge of one of the earpieces (the cylindrical part with the metal cap displaying the AKG logo, specifically).
The one problem I mentioned is that the elastics on one side are no longer elastic. They're both still there and attached, they just don't have any spring left to them. This doesn't seem to adversely affect the fit of the headphones or how well they stay on my head, but it should still be out there.
I don't have access to a digital camera with which to photograph the headphones other than the relatively crappy one on my cell phone. If someone is genuinely in need of photos I can provide them, but the cell phone won't capture much if any detail. My description is accurate, however.
I'm looking for $120USD plus actual shipping to whever you are. I'll ship to anywhere and with whatever tracking and insurance the buyer is willing to pay for, but only through the regular post (many, many bad experiences with courier/parcel services, won't risk it). I'll only accept Paypal, and I'll eat the fees.
