Thanks, korzena. I lack the hi-rez version but you inspired me to pull it out anyway @ 44.1 kHz. Now listening with a bowl of elegant white tea...

It must be a great combination...with the white tea:)
I only have hi-rez version so can't compare, but I think I wouldn't be able to hear big/any difference between hi-rez and 44.1.
Enjoy!:)

I had just finished a couple of hours of bookkeeping and administrative tasks - done for the day. Before I got up to watch ESPN, I saw your post and decided to change directions. The next hour was a relaxation I didn't know I needed...until I got it!

I'm listening to this again:

Listening to this, I don't find it hard at all to believe the two brothers spent three years on this album, because it really shows. I'm a bit disappointed I didn't find out about this also being available on CD before I pulled the trigger on the lossless digital version, but that's alright for I'm perfectly willing to spend a little more on a masterpiece like this.

[Edit: I guess I could mention that Orion & J.Shore have also made a bonus track available for free here (not as good as stuff that's on the album, but hey it's free): http://soundcloud.com/silkmusic/orion-j-shore-bittersweet]

Coming up next is the Sanctum OST. I played a four-hour game of it last night for the first time in a three player game, and it was truly a fine night. Apparently the sequel has been in the works for quite some time (since late 2011), so I'll be waiting for that to come out some time next year.

The OST can be streamed for free on Bandcamp and purchased in lossless glory for just $0.50, although you can pay more if you want.
