Amazing!!!

rant:
I don't know... I look at today Top 40, and I would not listen to the majority of the records listed if they pay me to, let alone buying the record, and their big recording companies making huge profits, and good talented musicians that make beautiful music that should be right there at the top are nowhere to be seen. it's a shame

Lenni, just listened to Delta Spirit and WOW. Really enjoying it, thanks for the heads up.

Bit of an odd choice for me today...

Praxis: "Tennessee 2004" - well worth cranking, especially if you have a potent sub or a pair of UE 11 Pro. sounds fantastic here as I switch back and forth (playing with matching my sub and speakers to the constellation I hear from the UE). same goes for the album from the same year, Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains: "The Big Eyeball in the Sky"

Nazareth's "Please Don't Judas Me" from the album "Hair Of The Dog" and this album is quite good - in my opinion - which makes this album quite enjoyable. This is the 2010 re-release of the 1975 album and yes I prefer older music. Digging for the old stuff is so rewarding. There is some interesting contemporary music though, still.

Set up: CD690 + SA-530 + K240 DF.

JOHN MAYER

"Waiting On The World To Change"

Me and all my friends
We're all misunderstood
They say we stand for nothing and
There's no way we ever could

Now we see everything that's going wrong
With the world and those who lead it
We just feel like we don't have the means
To rise above and beat it

So we keep waiting
Waiting on the world to change
We keep on waiting
Waiting on the world to change

It's hard to beat the system
When we're standing at a distance
So we keep waiting
Waiting on the world to change

Now if we had the power
To bring our neighbors home from war
They would have never missed a Christmas
No more ribbons on their door
And when you trust your television
What you get is what you got
Cause when they own the information, oh
They can bend it all they want

That's why we're waiting
Waiting on the world to change
We keep on waiting
Waiting on the world to change

It's not that we don't care,
We just know that the fight ain't fair
So we keep on waiting
Waiting on the world to change

And we're still waiting
Waiting on the world to change
We keep on waiting waiting on the world to change
One day our generation
Is gonna rule the population
So we keep on waiting
Waiting on the world to change

We keep on waiting

Waiting on the world to change  ~
