La Guitara. A very well recorded album. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys guitar solos.

The Ashby is one of those great, forgotten albums. After I heard it, I had to get her other music but never found the rest of the albums to be anywhere near as good.

The whole 'Fish Fry Soul' revival has yielded a bunch of good small label albums. This is older stuff, but I'm continually surprised by the amount of new southern soul being cranked out - it's durable music.
