When I was at school it was uncool to admit to liking T Rex as it was regarded as 'Glam Rock' or worse.....
However, a more enlightened friend of mine, bought Electric Warrior when it was released in '71.
What an album that is!
I still love it and can now 'come out' as a T Rex fan!
The first T Rex record I ever owned was 'Ride a White Swan' which was bought for me as a Birthday present by a very cool Aunt, a year earlier.

I recall his TV show in the 70's, I think it was broadcast late afternoon aimed at children finishing school, that was a great era.
