mdr-v6! they just _look_ like headphones... size, shape, colour... everything. no funky, artsy, shiny, fancy shmancy stuff... just the classic look! they may not sound the best but i want a pair just cuz...

Okay, which headphones just flat out look like they'll deliver the highest SQ possible through headphones? Headphones that just scream out "POWER! EXTREME SOUND!" and absolutely look high end compared to what traditional headphones look like. You know, that "I'm going to own your ass" look. Omega II's is what I think fit that label just perfectly.

Holy crappo. That is some sweet wood. How many Headphile items do you have now? I want a Cocobolo stand now.

I ordered a new pair in Cocobolo Darth Beyers because I fell in love with the wood when I had my HD600's done in it. When they come and are broken in I will sell my Paduak ones.

Larry is just shipping these to me today so I will report back on the black pads when I get them.

I vote the HP1000, the K701, and the Qualia. I certainly don't think the K1000 looks 'ugly,' but it's by no means attractive either. I DEFINITELY prefer the SA3000 over the SA5000, and something's very cool and sinister about the W5000 as well. On the customs end, that new zebra-black CD3000 takes the cake.
