A number of people have voted for the AT headphones. I've never had a chance to see them in person, and I agree that they look quite nice in pictures.

My one concern is that they have that semicircle metal bar running over the headband. Doesn't this, when worn, protrude around the top of one's head (therefore making them far less sleak)?

Yes it does protrude around the top of one's head but you won't notice them once you put them on as they're very comfortable.

I agree, the Qualias and metal Grado's are my picks. I can't stand the little roll-bar-esque things on AT's (they make people's heads look small).
