Lol, I am not going to start making siphon coffee at home! And I may start renewing my sudden coffee subscription, but I will *not* drink Nescafe. I may see if Blue Bottle is willing to start doing siphon coffee classes.

For Europe, I would bring a swan-neck kettle suitable for a stovetop, though I would prefer to fill it with boiling water from a non-swan-neck electric kettle, as stovetops are difficult for kettles—the handles can melt, or become too hot to hold, or start to release chemicals. The good news is that my Acaia Lunar would be compatible with the MicroUSB I need for KSE1500, and other than that I would just need the dripper (the stainless steel model is *made* for traveling) and plenty of filters. I think the question might come down to coffee industrial complex or snazzy outfit for the opera.

~

KSE1500 might be my endgame. After an unexplained interregnum, and the disastrous N90Q, it sounds just unbelievably wonderful.

I’m about to hear MTT conduct Mahler 7!

If you travel a lot you will learn to love Nescafe, or you won't have coffee. :)
I love the memories of nescafe, the aroma brings back many many memories... sometimes, it’s all you’ve got. And it’s nearly omnipresent.

One time in a previous life on the island Vanuatu I had no means to heat water one morning and a spoonful or two of dry Nescafe may have been eaten. By me. It was good.

Nes.jpg And likewise, the Coffee offered at this Amsterdan Coffeeshop was always good, as were the other treats for sale. For some reason, I found the aroma inside very inviting.

One on a 14'ers hiking trip in Colorado my friend made a concoction in his Nalgene water bottle of Tang and Folgers crystals.
He didn't make it too far before trips to the off path latrine.
