She is very good.

You must be really taken with her music, you have posted links on three different threads and changed your signature line!

Her channel had 62 followers last night, trying to help with exposure. This board gets many eyes:blush:

Edit: This is her main channel, but still only 1100 subscribers, absolutely nothing considering her talent, and the quality of the recordings.

Last night at San Francisco Symphony. The concert featured pianist Yuja Wang, currently one of the biggest stars in classical music, playing Ravel's Piano Concerto for the Left Hand.

City Hall was lit for a Mexican festival event in the plaza.

During intermission, the piano being raised into position from below stage.

For years, I ignored Yuja Wang because she was always pictured in high heels and mini dresses. I figured she was one of those musicians who was successful for how they look rather than their talent. Then one of her videos went viral and I saw that she is a superhuman virtuoso. She played a great performance and encore.

She is famous for her encores.

Bloody amazing! Bravo!

Warning!!! Audio related post!!

A USD $500+ Femto USB card for your PC.

https://jcat.eu/product/usb-card-femto/

and a USD $500+ Femto Ethernet card

https://jcat.eu/product/net-card-femto/

What do you folks think? Audiophile or Audiofool?
Audiophool. Both USB audio and Ethernet are async protocols, so ultra-accurate clocking is only relevant to what happens after the bits are read into a buffer (on the USB or Ethernet receiver) before being sent on synchronously to the DAC chip. That last step is were really accurate clocking matters. The situation is different with S/PDIF or AES3, although even there the receiver can tweak the timing, and definitely the source clock matters a lot with I2S, because the sender clocks the DAC in that setup. For Schiit multibit DACs (depending on model) use AES3 of S/PDIF BNC coax with a well-clocked, low-noise source, or if USB is needed, a low-noise USB source.

What would be the best way for me to go from my PC to Yggy's AES3?

cheaper = better to me. I need femto clocking here I assume.

How about this? http://matrix-digi.com/en/products/158/index.html#page1

Neither link works for me, this one has a %20 at the front, so can't find.
The earlier one takes me to newegg but with "Sorry, We can't find this Item. Please check your Item#." message :disappointed:
or is it just me. (just curious)

edit: Oh, the one I quoted is different now :confounded:

That gadget has a good reputation around various boards, but I've never tried it. I'm a Mac and Linux guy, but for PCs, I've heard good things about some direct AES output boards, for instance this https://www.pinkfaun.com/index.php/products/streaming-audio/pink-faun-audio-bridge.html. Never used one, though.

I looked at the Pink Faun cards when I was looking at PS Audio for the i2s hdmi out.

But they do sell one with AES3, more money than a USB/AES3 converter, but undoubtedly better I'm thinking.
Less gear in the chain is always my thinking.
