I don't think it was a mistake. Problem with used Beats is that there is so many counterfiets I'll bet that you probably would have been ripped off (even more).

As ishcabible said to you (in one of the many, many threads you have posed this same question), it is pointless to wonder if something was a bad choice after you have purchased it.
What is a "bad mistake" is worrying about what you already own instead of using and enjoying it.

The TMA-1 are a bit dark, but they are great, especially the low end.
