I did a ridiculous battery mod on my walnut, I used a smartphone battery lying around my room lol.

Woah pretty neat, would be curious to know if that gives better battery life than the built in one.
I have a good LG G4 battery lying around, nothing being done with it.

Beware: the battery inside has a BM module (battery management) that prevents overcharge and over-discharge. If you just plug in an external lithium polymer cell it may not have this protection.

That means i can keep my walnut plugged in whole night in charge, it won't harm the battery life ?

Yep, made my two orders on *bay one from china and one local listening to it now after a few hours burn in. The second will live in the car when its arrived.  Really does remind me of listening to cassettes back in college, love that resume where you left off

Hello, got my walnut yesterday. Delivery to Russia was fast. SQ is very beautiful, love how it plays with my urbanfun's, perfect clear sound, bass is great too. As many of people here my sd card was corrupted. Also i hear floor noise and this is one thing that make me little bit sad. Have burn in walnut around 10 hours and still have this problem, hope after another night of burn in it will disapears. Maybe anyone know how to fix it if burn in doesn't help? Thanks for this thread
