They are.
Does anybody know where to buy this type of silicone bands from?

You might contact Jim at NICEHCK Store (AliEx) and see if they can source those bands since he's who I bought my F1 from:wink:

Hello everyone, this thread has a lot of pages, and I only have a simple question :

I'm looking for a cheap amp that would be able to drive 600 ohms - 105db/mW earbuds, do you think the walnut F2 could fit the bill? (in balanced out probably)

It's too bad the Walnut F1 isn't still available, since it actually uses a pair of 600-Ohm Balanced Line Driver chips for the 2.5mm TRRS Balanced Output.
I've got a set of AD SSM-2142-PZ chips in mine, and like them a bit better than the stock TI DRV-134-PA chips.

My first generation Walnut is starting to fail. I'm wondering what other Walnut products are now about for a choice of replacement. Where is a good site to go to to browse all the Walnut goodies?

The $25 V2s is the screenless Walnut device that supports file formats other than 16-Bit/44.1/48-KHz WAV & MP3. You can play 24-Bit/192-KHz APE & FLAC files on the V2s.

The $70 V3 has a screen, and uses an AK4490 DAC chip - but there are reports of Firmware / Interface issues.

Yes F1 would be ideal to power high Z earbuds, unfortunately it's not available anywhere anymore, F2 works as amp but not sure it has the same power, V2S has no amp function.

F3 seems to be a big "NO" from reviews, and the Zishan T1 is taking the same path, those resistive screens suck.
