I saw aliexpress stock v2s already. I wonder how different it will be. Not much info in the listing pages. Apparently flac now supported. Dac function? I really need this dac function since my sound card busted . Does it really support up to 192khz 24bit?

My Walnut is not powerful as described here. It can barely feed my RE0 which is only 64 ohms and it is the latest one without the hold switch. Is this to be expected? Is the first version more powerful?

Have you turned up the digital volume too? You can do this by long pressing the next button and wiggling the volume knob.

Yes I did but it's still not powerful as I expected. I hear some distortion at high volumes with my Sony mdr100aap. Do I need to burn it in for at least 100 hours since it has an amp?

@heraleks - Are the 1KΩ resistors that go to GND, connected to the capacitor lead that is "away" from the opamp, or the one that's "closer" to the opamp?

could someone that's in contact with Walnut creator find out for us Walnut V2.0 (original) and V2.1 (soldered opamp) owners: is there a Firmware upgrade possible/available that enables the USB DAC function?

this feature request maybe more realistic on the V2.1 as it has a data port...
