VSONIC GR07 Impressions Thread

+1 except i think the D2000 would be the little brother, at least by reading and hoping xD

GR07 is like a cousin. Bass is presented the same way, deep and does not interfere much with other frequencies. But the Vsonics give much less quantity, in exchange for maybe more forward mids. Might be a specialist vs a jack of all trades?

Someone said this also way back in the beginning of the thread too. I can at the very least agree that they do not sound like the M50.

Hmm ... That is strange to me. All of the Denons I have heard had a slow and warm bass, and the GR07 definitely does not.  My ears hurt SO BAD today I can not even touch them !  If i am not very lucky fast, with finsing some tips that agree with my ears, I will have to forget the GR07s and go with Cans.

My vintage beyers have a very close sound

they just have slightly less noticable sub-bass as they aren't in the ear, but they have that same, bright and detailed sound

I saw some GR07 with raised letters on the earpiece, and some with white letters.
Which one is the new ones?

Do you have any pictures of those different versions you saw? As Reomero mentioned, the diferences between the older and newer batch should be the box (white in the newer version), but also the tips (the newer version comes with a lot more tips) and the earguides. To my knowlegde, the IEM shell should be the same for the two versions...
