Phewwwwwwwwww! Is there really a tech/sound difference to classics from MkII? only the 3 colors IMO. but again there's a $50 difference that makes my head scratch.

There doesn't seem to be much of a difference. Problem is the VSD1/S is marketed at the 80% of the GR07, so where would the classic version be placed?
 
I think the product placement would be something like this:
    GR07                   <--> VSD1/S
    GR07 classic        <--> VSD1LE
 
I was hoping that someone will bite the bullet and review them. The price tag makes it quite enticing..

out of the box details are amazing along with the bass but treble is a bit on higher side,,,did any of u had similar problem before burn in??
 
also will burn in improve it??

kick start Burn-in and chk every 50 hours or so in between........just give them little breathin time.
For best,run for min 300 hrs to reveal it's full potential.

I got the silver version yesterday, but I don't own the MKII version for comparison. The box and the user manual that came with it have GR07 MKII written on them, and the specs & accessories are exactly the same. IMHO they are just Vsonic's way of reducing the price of a previous flagship because new products (VSD3, VSD5 etc) are coming soon.

Silver/white? The seller called them silver grey. But yes I think they are just MKII with a reduced price tag, at least from what I gathered from Chinese forums.
