One more SE-11 reporting for duty: I received mine from Japan and... surprise! They have intact soft pleather pads. I agree with Cifems impressions above: bass is great with very nice extension, they also have good tonal balance and details. I am listening to mines and they are very musical and enjoyable. And they look great of course! Now I want a pair of SE-15 even more...

Quick FR measurement, first side by side with Audeze Sine and stock ESP/950 for comparison as I'm using a DIY flat plate rig.

The 3k drop seems to be due to ringing.

And finally a comparison to my favourite modded/hybrid headphones, both stats and planars.
