HD-650's arrived today.   Burning them in now.  Will play with them on the Yamaha for a few weeks.  My short list for amps is now Schiit Asgard, Little Dot Mk IV, and Bottlehead Crack.  I also really like the Burson 160 but a little pricey for me.
 
Has anybody built a Bottleneck?   Easy, hard?  I'm worried I'll buy it, try to build it, and screw it up.  Then I'll be out the money and the amp.  On the flip side, looks like a lot of fun and a lot of value for the money.

Crack is fairly easy to build .  Comes with cd for directions.  Take your time and it should be no problem.  I did have a semantic problem because I read the instructions to fast and didn't differentiate between connect and solder so I had to re-solder some connections no bigge.
