Hour 408: the FW10000’s Bass is damn good, even with the single-ended connection and powered by the SU-AX01. On par with the balanced FW01 if not slightly ahead because of how amazingly tight and low it gets. The sound is that much more complete and just insane.

They’re energetic as hell though. Voices and instruments can at times get a little too sharp for comfort. It’s a sharpness that really jumps out at you. Swapping the cable tames it.

What do you think of the PW Audio 1960 2 wire cable?
I am thinking of pairing it with my CL2.

Well made but it brings warmth to the sound. So if you have a very bright iem it can help

Do you know of any other copper cables that are in the same performance bracket?
I will be putting my order in soon, and it's kind of hard to make a judgement without a first hand listen.

Anyone can recommend a full size closed headphone that’s close to signature of FW10000?

Closest I came across is ZMF Eikon but that thing is quite heavy. Sound marvellous though.

Can't argue with that, judging by number of TH900's you owned. What's your take on TH-X00 vs 900?

900 more wider sound stage, more details.

Stellia more bass, not quality bass, muddy mids, weird treble.
