I sent Venturecraft an email a while back asking the headphone output impedance of the go-dapX,.......

......they replied it is 47ohms, surely they must have made a typo?

Not wanting to torpedo the go-dapX  (I have been hesitant to post this), but going by the 1/8 rule..................

Any news?
Oh! Sorry for not getting back to you.

Please drop them a mail again. I believe they should be ready. They've been busy with the e-earphone & Fujiya festivals though (last & this coming weekend respectively).

I tried it today at the Tokyo headphone festival.

First impression-good but not as refined as my Fostex hp_p1 (to be expected with the different prices).

Later.

Black model.
Burr Brown OPA2134
Deep.smooth, nice mids.

Red model.
Muses8920
Brighter, but not harsh.
`cleaner` than black model.

I think it is a good product, I would rather buy this as an entry level product and forget about buying a portable amp If I was starting out again.

Also the USB/LOD looks quite strong, and is a low rider like the Fiio L9.

*Tested with ATH-ESW9.

Is the USB/LOD part of the accessories that come with the X?

I believe so.

I asked and it seemed that they said yes, but lets also wait and see...... it could have been lost in translation.

*maybe head-fier ANAKCHAN can email them and confirm.

I also asked whether they will sell it by itself(lod) and they said yes.
