I'm curious what DAC it uses. It supports PC USB Audio but doesn't mention DSD but it uses the same 3500mAh lithium battery as the Typhoon.

¥79800...another steep purchase :-)!!

P.S. oh yes, the link for other readers: http://venturecraft.jp/gadget_jp/
P.P.S. Raytheon 6111SQ tube

On 2nd thoughts, with how frequent VentureCraft is curning out Go-DAPs and this thread isn't really all that big, think it'll just make sense to keep it here. I'll update the 1st post of this thread.

It should be combined with Typhoon thread since it's pretty much the same basic design or just included Typhoon to this thread.

Ideally all 3 should be combined into one thread. But the reason why I thought of putting it here is 'cos the TT and the X carry the Go-DAP name. I'll see if Currawong will consider merging all 3 into one thread or not.

More info about the TT from Fujiya:

So unlike the Typhoon, this seems to just have a DAC/Amp functionality like the Go-DAP X rather than line in/out features of the Typhoon.

That's a bit disappointment and no DSD too.

Seem that they use different DAC than Typhoon in TT. I spot another opamp, OPA2604, wonder what they use that for?

The Raytheon 6111 tube is also used in ALO's The Continental portable headphone amp, as described in this thread. Note that the tube is soldered in place. It's a long life tube, so you won't have to change it very often (if ever), but you won't be tube rolling.
