That is a tough question.
It works with our V-Moda headphones, but not amp and not DAC, still worth $400.
Can we have a 3rd hint about the size of the Suitcase?

It doesn't just have to work with the Crossfade or XS, so it may actually be a DAP.
If they can actually manage to make a great, inexpensive DAP (a bit of a long shot, but they may be able to do it), I'd probably buy it.

Might be a DAP... But a DAP nowdays should be a DAC as well...

I read somewhere, that the sound of the M-100 is addictive, like drugs.
It might be a bit colored and not "natural", but extremely enjoyable and works perfectly with any electronic music genre.
The reviewer who wrote this says everything sounds flat and boring after the M-100.
Pretty much I can agree with this.
Unless you go for natural presentation and listen to only acoustic music, you can not really go wrong with the M-100s.
For the purpose (music enjoyment) it was made it is a 100% success.
(And I admit, it is addictive.)

i think, it is the item worth $400. But it might not be a new product... Maybe a first "something" made by V-Moda.

My guess was $400 worth of custom shields. Maybe an autographed shield, or set of shields, by DJs using V-MODA headphones? I'll take some DeadMau5/Avicii/Nervo/Val autographed shields.

He never said that the $400 treasure is what's inside the case. So it would be a new product and for guessing it, there's still a mysterious treasur separate from that product

I think I figured it out! In the Avicii video at 2:13 the headphones he is using are unplugged. I've actually had this idea for V-MODA for a while before this contest but I think it could very well be a bluetooth/wireless adapter. If I'm right I wouldn't mind getting mine free for guessing correctly .
 
After re-reading your post another reason I believe it is a wireless adapter is the "The End of Ubiquity" quote: cables are ubiquitous, so it is the end of needing to use cables. I was going to post wireless adapter on the Facebook post before even hint 3 but assumed the suitcase was too big for it.
