Any news on the v-moda boom mic, XL pads, coil pro cables? Been waiting for months and months!
Definitely looking forward to improved call qualities, may even buy coil pro if it's in the affordable range. :)

Boom Pro Mic: http://v-moda.com/vtf/
Retail Price is $40 USD.

Also, it looks like Beyerdynamic is making a similar one for their Custom One Pro headphone (look at around 2:13 in the video).

Ohhhh, thanks! I looked but that pic was not really convincing to me as I don't see a pic of the mic there lol! Anyways, cheers on the mic. Should I wait a few weeks for the XL pad 20$+ deal to buy the mic?

The mic ships in 3-4 weeks lol =(

Sure, you might as well, unless you need the cable ASAP. Val needs to confirm the $20+ USD + free XL pads deal first though.

I just saw a girl walking around my school campus with a pair of matte-black M-100's a few minutes ago. Does anyone here go to the University of Washington by any chance?

Ok, that is the worst product description page ever, who would know that is for the Microphone??

Well for one the product isn't officially released yet.
Secondly it says in the product description:
Quote:
* includes VoIP adapter

Which likely implies that it's some sort of cable that has both voice and audio outputs. They already have the SpeakEasy cables, so it's probably not one of those.

You know what? I think V-Moda really did a good job on these headphones speaking solely about the colors (the rest of the features are evidences of a good job by themselves), but let me elaborate. Both the white and the matte black are pure pieces of art, the first ones probably with a more youthful air touch, and the second ones with a very elegant finish on them. The shadows are probably in between both, maybe you don't like the white ones for being so flashy nor the matte ones for being so sober. This way you have already covered most of the preferences in the market. In my opinion, an admirable work, as they gave us the option to choose (not always you have those options).

Only thing I'll love right now is the option to be able to replace the wingplates as in the LP/LP2, I think this is not possible yet for these. The same than you, I was completely in love with the matte black since the very first moment.
