Looking for a replacement cable as the M-100 cable is too lengthy.
 
What can I buy that works for the M-100? I don't want it as long as the one that comes with the headphones! I want shorter, shorter, SHORTER!!!!

Monoprice works, and the CoilPro is only like two and a half foot coiled up.

Or the aforementioned Nuforce Transient Cables are a bit shorter (about a foot). I use them instead of the V-MODA variants. Not a fan of the fabric cables.

You can braid it as a temporary or long term solution!

I don´t keep a picture of what I did with the M-100 but you can see it on my Q701´s to get an idea.

Pity they don't offer a mini-to-quarter-inch variant for times when adapters seem cumbersome and/or superfluous.
 
I'm not a fan of coiled cables, either.

The way I measured it may have been different from the way V-MODA measures it. When the XL Pads are released though, I'll measure it the way I did for those measurements; and re-measure the ones I have since they may have changed over time.

Finally got my M-100s from the Amazon.ca deal. No hinge problems this time so I'm really happy. Seems to be a small paint finishing issue on one of the bands that hold the ear cups, but it's barely noticeable so I'm fine with it; definitely better than a faulty hinge at least. Now I'm just waiting on the XL pads.
 
My wallet hates Head-Fi. Got the Momentum, Amperior and M-100 within a month's span because of good deals lol.

Mine has a small blemish/chip on the arm as well (top edge, a little less than 1/4 inch).  Not real noticeable unless you look at it at a certain angle.  I wonder if this is common, someone else mentioned chipping on the earcup arm a few posts back.  Still awesome headpones!!!
