I'd like to ask this question again. Does anyone have experience of these warm sounding dongles improving the lean sound of planar IEMs? I've got kz PR2 and looking to upgrade to a 4vrms dongle, if they can give little bit more body to mids.
You could try the Shanling UA3.

Been using isilencer lately. With various dongles I'm hearing better staging in regards to depth of field scene. Most noticeably there's better separation in terms of vocals being lifted from the mix.

Interesting set of features for the price ! This thing is a monster dongle, literally 4 Tanchjim Space in size and weight 😳

I haven't said my last word with magnets, i ordered more to give a use to my USB U interconnect 😛

I stuck 8 slim magnets (about 0.8mm thick) on the back of my phone's case and the back of my Shanling M0 Pro with double sided tape, it's the perfect thickness to close the gap between the 2 devices, it's snappy and the M0 Pro is locked in place nicely. It also solves a minor issue with the M0 Pro used as a dongle, the usb port and audio jack being on the same side with a usb cable the jack ends up on top... not anymore with the U interconnect and the magnets 😎

Seems there's a firmware update for Tanchjim space to fix the issue of volume not being saved on board. https://tanchjim.com/services/

However, I haven't managed to get it to work. The update tool was unable to sense the firmware hex file for me (no green bar).
Same here :disappointed_relieved:

I was advised from audioscience side that you have to remove all Chinese characters from the folder path. Now it works for me!

I tested the volume saving and it works for both 3.5 and 4.4, unplugged and replugged a few times. Whew... The space is useable again! There's an app for this firmware too, maybe I will try it later.
