Any idea if the JCALLY JM7 works? Is it decent?I suggest you test dongle beforehand. Some dongle is not compatible with iphone 15. Asus ESS dongle for example, cannot adjust volume in iphone. It is at max volume only. Now I am looking for good usb c to 3.5 for daily use too.
As i test now, ve megatron works and fiio dongle that comes with fiio ff1 works

I have the same question regarding JCALLY JM25. Did you find more info about this?Hi everyone. Is Abigail/Abigail Pro still the best cx31993 based dongle, or has it been dethroned by something else?
Has anyone have any idea how Jcally JM25 is?
I'm also considering between Abigail Pro and JCALLY JM25.

Hi,Can anybody comment on the ES9318/ES9603 combination (eg Jcally J45) vs classics like the CX31993 dongles?
I'm looking at buying a Hisense Touch ereader/DAP, and it comes with the ES9318/ES9603.
Did you get an answer to this? I'm currently in the same dilemma, Abigail Pro (CX31993) vs JCALLY JM25 (ES9318C).
I'm not able to find any info on JCALLY JM25 (ES9318C) or a comparison between the two.
Which one did you end up going for?
Hey guys,
I'm looking for a good Type C to 3.5 mm dongle for my Android phone and a few IEMs that I have. I have Blons BL-03, KZ - X Crinacle CRN and Salnotes Zero. My friend also has MOONDROP - Chu II, so I'm gonna check those out as well.
An audiophile friend of mine said VE Odyssey HD is the best, but since they are no longer available, which Type C to 3.5 mm dongle would you guys recommend that's as good or better than VE Odyssey HD?
Looking forward to your recommendations.
Thanks for reading. Have a nice day
What's your budget? And do you want something neutralish or more coloured?
There’s a new one from Aune, the Yuki. Just came available here yesterday. Looks interesting for the fact that it has a ceramic PC board and discrete amplifier stage.
Jcally JM6 Pro is better.I have the same question regarding JCALLY JM25. Did you find more info about this?

Abigail Pro is about $12 and JCALLY JM25 is about $25 here. I don't mind spending extra if it makes a good difference. What's your budget? And do you want something neutralish or more coloured?
About the neutral and colored question, I really can't say. I'm not an audiophile. Just looking for a good music experience, something that will be an improvement from the regular Android/Mi Type C to 3.5 cable I'm using.
I see. Thanks for the reco. I looked it up. It has the same chip as the Abigail Pro but apparently has an "extra" amp chip and it's only slightly costlier than the Abigail Pro.Jcally JM6 Pro is better.
I can definitely go for JCALLY JM6 Pro. Is there any comparison between this and the JCALLY JM25? Asking because if I spend a little more money, I can get the JCALLY JM25 but only if it's worth it.
Thanks a lot for the info and the help
Edit: Scratch that. The JM6 Pro is out of stock at all the local online stores here. It's either Abigail Pro for $12 or JCALLY JM25 for $25.

Whoa! It's double the cost of JM25. It's coming down to $45, compared to JM25 which is $25 here and Abigail Pro is $12.
What's the difference between these to warrant that cost increase?

Dongle prices start at a couple of $$$ and go up to a couple of hundred $$$
I picked iFi Go Link, cos the price to performance was just right for me. YMMV.
Check-out AndyAudioVault. He knows plenty about dongles

Same here. However I use it primarily with original ZenCan, no complaintsI picked iFi Go Link, cos the price to performance was just right for me.
I chose the Tanchjim Space lite over the go link. Very nice sound.Dongle prices start at a couple of $$$ and go up to a couple of hundred $$$

I'm removing JCALLY - JM25 out of the equation as it does not have microphone support. It's something that I use quite often, so I don't think I'll be swapping it out every now and then for another dongle where I can pick phone calls.
I'm now back to Abigail Pro or Jcally JM6 Pro. I've spoken to a couple of online retailers here, and they said they'll have JM6 Pro back in stock in 15 days or so.
Little sad that JM25 is out. I was thinking of finally pulling the trigger and just going for it
Well, let's see how it goes.

Has anyone tested any of the higher power draw dongles with the iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max? Those have USB-C 3.2 with power delivery so I’m hoping there’s now parity with Android for dongles with those models specifically.

I am curious how to evaluate the latest design approaches utilizing various flavors of R2R or the Rohm chips. I saw a review of an updated Cayin dongle that said it was more digital sounding than the previous generation. And another stating that Rohm is the cat's pajamas. Given the expense of these top of the line units, it is not cost effective to purchase them all then resell the lessor competitors in the group.
