Oh well, I thought I was safe taking a risk because the first one worked.

Also to add to the convo, I find the non removable cable a positive as it's less pieces and makes the overall Device smaller.

Took another punt on the shanling ua2. Hopefully pairs well with Samsung devices.

I have and here is review if you are interested and I just reviewed the new Tempotec Sonata HD II as well.
I also have the Tempotec Sonata E35 on the way.

Thanks for your review. How would you compare them to Sonata HD and Sonata HD2?

I have the ibasso dc04 and find that it works perfectly with my galaxy s10 (Exynos) and Sony ier-m9.

I then bought the dc03 to use with other IEMs which don't have have the 4.4mm end or need the power however the galaxy phone does not recognise it outside of leaving it plugged In and resetting (hardly user friendly).

Very perplexing that one doesn't miss a beat and the other not recognised! Both are updated to current firmware.

If you are using Android you can try to make sure that firmware using " Device Info HW "

Soundmagic A30 arrived today.
Smaller in-person than the pictures.
Plenty of volume for iem with clean amplification. No coloration.
Fill volume and track control.
Certainly scaled up sound my Blon BL-01 from the regular 3.5 mm jack.

Good value as my cost was about 30$US.

You did! I love having volume and track control as it makes night time listening easier as well as mobile listening.
The Aria only needed like 40% volume on my phone to get plenty looked whereas on my tablet I was at 75% through the stock 3.5mm back.

The BL-01 despite the lower impedance have lower sensitivity and need about 60% compared to 80%.

Sound is clean with no added noise.
I can see why none is taking about it. It seems on Ali express our is asking for more than the ibasso or Tempotec.

Oddly on Amazon Canada it was the cheapest DAC amp with that chip in it at 37$all in which is about 30$US.

Can you compare it to some other dongles?

Unfortunately only works when the device is already recognised (Just tested).

Useful for those wanting confirmation of their working ibasso dcxx though as the driver update process doesn't give great clarification.
OFC when device is recognized, it just for make sure ✌
