Bought the braided cable myself from custom cables. Lets wait and see. Will post my opinion once the cable arrives...cheers

Had some time this weekend, and recabled my P5s.  Used 26 AWG silver clad copper stranded wire twisted pairs.  I used two pairs for each channel with in a litz braid.  Found some nylon cord at a fabric store and covered the cable and finished with gold 3.5mm plug.
