I'm considering upgrading from my current cans.  Anyone out there have recommendations for some headphones that would provide noticeably better sound quality than my audio technicas and denons?  Here's what I've tried so far and my opinions:

HD650: Bass was really lacking, treble and midrange were great.  Not as comfortable as my current headphones.  Returned it
DT880: Bass was really lacking, midrange was great.  Treble was a tad over-emphasized (probably seemed that way to me because the bass was recessed).  Extremely comfortable.  Returned it

I'm pretty happy with the D2000s and the overall sound quality although I've barely used them.  They're a slight improvement over my audio technicas which are my main cans and have been for many years.  Some more bass would be great since I listen to speakers a lot as well, but I'm curious to try something that has at least my current quantity/quality of bass along with ...I don't know...just something better.
