I just asked about adding driver(s) to SE530 and was told no.
and DANG, just tried my impressions from Sensaphonics when I got my custom sleeves and the left one is PERFECT, but the right one does not go deep enough in--uber sigh

I e-mailed them about the Shure 310s and adding a driver. Waiting to hear back. But the other question is, would it be worth it to get custom molds for the Shure 310s. Or to put it another way, what are the advantages other than it looking kakko ii ... cool?

since the SE310 is vented, a custom mold gives it more room/air to move meaning the driver can work more efficiently. Bone conduction, meaning the sound that is coming from the back of the driver is transmitted through the shell to your ear meaning you get that little extra "airyness" sound to your music where you don't from universals. And because it just looks fantastic

Good enough reasons for me ... damn you know your stuff!!! And a good salesman to boot. I will await their estimate on the cost to remold 310s.

Not a bad deal. Next on the agenda is to track down an audiologist located in Tokyo, Japan to get the molds done.

Sorry my signature is out of date since I haven't been here in over a year...I do have the 530s now and that is what I inquired about and was told no to the extra driver(s)

Hey Guys,

Long time lurker in these parts. Tried looking for some comparison between these and the IE8s (TF10's are still unopened in their box). Any thoughts from those who've tried both?

Cheers,
D.

Apologies, I should have been more clear. I was hoping for a comparison between remolded TF10s and stock IE8s. Thanks!

Just got confirmation from Sam that I'm getting remoulds only. The reviews for the UE11 style version weren't filling me with optimism, whereas the remould customers seem happy, so as they're gonna be backups and phone headsets, I figured keep it simple.

Great comms from Sam I have to say - always replies the same day.
