What did it take to make it cost nearly $2000 on top of the already expensive Mason FS? At this point the pricings are completely arbitrary and ludicrous, especially given how deep of a discount the base FS got during Black Friday...

Lol wow, definitely some CNY type special edition I’d imagine. Looks like the PW cable comes with shielding now too which probably is factored into the price premium.

I haven't received the details about this cable. One thing I got confirmed tho, it is using the newest generation of dBC-s (not the OBC), new driver, new material, new structure, and new supporting panels.

I’m crazy but these prices are a joke.

I recall the Mason Fabled Sound being advertised taking 7 months to make a batch after the first 20. Mason FS came out May 2020 and here we are 8 months later with a different version already.

What a slap in the face to Mason FS owners.

I know I don't have a few $6k's to throw around to taste different flavors...

I guess the red halo edition could be part of the Mason FS batch, just done with updated drivers and red base with Cholla. The red halo FE looks like the same stabilized pinewood as in Indigo but in red and Mason body shape.

I am very interested in the indigo-like new FS. I hope to be able to audition it sometime, possibly during the incoming NYC Canjam.
