I watched it and still don't know what his conclusion is. Is it better than the Mest mk2?

From the review I don't think so. He mentioned in the comments section it's better than EVO though.I watched it and still don't know what his conclusion is. Is it better than the Mest mk2?

I can say with the deepest conviction that MEST2 is ultra special and nothing sounds like it, in fact i sold Monarch MK2 and ie900 is the other special iem this year.
Those 2 are the most complimentary iems in one's collection and pretty much anything else is irrelevant unles you have way too much money.
Just my 5 cents

He might not like its tuning. But that does mean EVO is worse. i do prefer Mests over EVO tonally myself purely due to treble roll off, but EVO technically is better than MK2... Better resolution, wider staging, better bass speed. And in general EVOs bass is very Unique and physical with good extension. That's what he said. I think he never ranked the EVO high.
When Mexts BCD only goes to 200hz it should be barely affecting bass. So it must relly on DD to do it...
This is just mu speculation and i am not throwing mud on Mext. I just doubt those 2 iems will be on same technical level over all. Even though i would not mind that at all haha

MEXT universal bought, I’ll have it tomorrow. If I can get that same Indigo imaging with a slightly bassier tuned IEM / smoother treble then I plan to go custom with it also.
My custom MEXT and custom Mason Fusang have been shipped from UM, Musicteck should be getting them soon

I would love to participate in a tour, but sadly I’m in Europe. Would be great if we can have a taste of it here. I sent an email to Andrew of MusicTeck about it already, not sure how it would goSo, any thoughts on a MEXT review tour? See if it is actually better than some more expensive models or not. I will be very much interested in participating in the review tour...however, I am in India, so I doubt I could be a part of the tour. Do not have enough cash lying around either for buying it outright, although I am very much interested. So, any thoughts on a MEXT review tour?
