I'm currently figuring out which cable I get the best results with between the Penon OS849, Effect Audio Maestro and Virtuoso, and the Linsoul Euphrosyne and I might try the Totem on something besides the Volt

How much better of a cable do you want to pair with a $400 IEM? The most I would go is $100. Would a $100 upgrade cable make that much of a difference in sound quality?

I am very interested in this 3DD design mostly to eliminate BA timbre. If you spend $200-300 on an upgrade cable, wouldn't it make more sense to upgrade to an S8 or Clairvoyance?

The cable honestly isn't great. Which is still shocking to me. It's like they made this great IEM for us but knew most of their base would change out the cables once they got it. Yes you are paying over $300 for this but I would say with confidence the cable isn't better than the $16 cable I got from Linsoul to replace the stock cable that came with my BL-03s.

I know what you mean. The cable that came with my Dusks isn't good at all. I'm lookin for a suitable upgrade cable. I got a decent one as a resale for my son. But I still paid less than $100 for it. I think the original owner paid over $200. I am in the camp that cables do make a difference between for my higher end IEMs I have A/B tested copper and sliver cables and they definitely sound different. My UM Mest has a stock cable that costs $424 to replace. I doubt I would have spent that much to buy that cable. I also spent money on the Fiio cables and both of them went bad within 3 months. So those cables I wouldn't recommend based on my experience. I think I've had the best luck with resales of brand name IEM cables.

I don’t usually put numerical values on SQ, but what they rated (8.5/10) is almost identical to how I would rate the 3DT if I had to.

I believe they rated IT07 somewhere around 8.8 which I agree as well.

IER-Z1R should be around 9.1/10

What was their score for the Traillii again? 9.3?

Got mine today. I'm liking what I'm hearing so far. The cable is meh though.

A couple of questions...

Do you guys get driver flex with your units? Also, how much burn-in (if any) do these need?
