Does anyone have a pair of Signatures I can borrow for a week to have a thorought listen through? Perhaps someone local in the San Francisco Bay Area? I just really want to listen as I am tired of buying and reselling (I've done that with the ED8, the T770Pro 32Ohm LE and the T70P...)

Seriously about a week witht the Sig DJ and the simplest way to describe them is they really are simply a jack of all trades. I watched the movie Thor with them, and some tv shows, the voices are simply awsome, there never seem to be any freakin distortion with these things!!! everything is loud and clear all throughout the frenquecy range... the impact and dynamics in movies makes you feel your actually in the freaking scene, deep in there, even get freakin stunned in suspense scene its crazy!!! The leather cushions are pretty awsome as well, very confy and very good seal.

Ill be getting most prob an amplifier in the coming months for them see if I could get some even more sub-bass presence and soundstage! (really dont need it but just curious to see how different/benefical it would sound)

Ultrasone Sig DJ; Fantastic headphones!

From what I heard low and mid-fi will get a huge revamp with new models and new S-Logic. No info on Signature Series.

"The simple answer is no; the Signature line has not been discontinued and there are no plans to do so.  They are very much an important part of the Ultrasone range"

So there you have it, straight from the horses mouth. Move along.....

I think Thomann offers the best price and service.

This, it's 729€ incl shipping with 3 year warranty (by Thomann, 5 year by Ultrasone) and 30 days return warranty. I've almost ordered it but 729€ is still a lot of money for a headphone to me, especially since I can't try it before I buy it.

It's either Ultrasone Signature DJ or Final Audio Design Pandora Hope VI that seems to come closest matching my needs and both costs about the same. I expect BASS to be perfect on the Sig DJs but the mids/highs to be how I want it on the Pandora VI based on all the user reviews/measurements etc of both so it's a tough decision. Why can't there exist a hybrid of the two!? :D There's a lack of focus on highend bassy headphones around, think something of Hifiman, Audeze but boosted bass in a closed structure.
