There are two cable from Sennheiser fort the HD598, one is 1.2 meter for 18 EUR  and one that is 3.0 meter for 11.80 EUR. They have the same 2.5 mm bayonet plug as the Signatures. Very cheap! Should be filed under accessories in the HD598 specs.
There is a shop for the OYAIDE cable in my street. It is a High End shop. I once asked them about Sony Walkman acessories and they just stared me down..... I think these cables will cost a fortune.

Its been 2 days since i have listened to my signature djs.... Not my choice in the slightest. Now im listening again and experience an addiction powered happiness

Something i have realized, is that with most other high end cans, the buyers say they love them then they continue to buy more high end cans. It seems like only 10% of the dj buyers want another can, and most who do just want something more balanced. Maybe because there havent been as many dj buyers?

Those Pro 500s are amazing, eh? Just got my pair a few days ago. Not very comfortable for 1+ hour sessions(even for my oval head shape) but their sound is so very natural and enjoyable- easily a favorite in my collection. I almost like them better than the Sig DJ but not really sure yet...
