Sorry for being dumb but who are DWI? A Google search just referenced me to government sites for the crime of 'driving whilst impaired' haha.

DWI Digital Cameras is the correct term to search for :) They're an outfit located in HK that specialises in importing grey market stuff from Asia to Australia/NZ.

I finally had a dropout-free day with my pre-Deoxit 900s.  The corrosion had been getting worse and worse, especially on the right.  Yesterday the right was driving me mad on my daily bike ride - I finally gave up and rode sans music.  Today, I hit my 900s with some WD40 connection cleaner and a bit of 220 grit sandpaper.  Rode for four hours and not a single dropout!!   Now that I've got the dropouts sorted, and the fit issues sorted (orange triple-flange MEEelectronics tips plus Comply wax guards), I'm in love with these things again.

Can anyone confirm if all ue900s' are the unibody construction now if they were bought new, and are there any issues that I should be aware of with the ue900s?

Seems that way: mine and a few others who bought recently were all of unibody construction.
Issues:
Redesign of box isn't exactly ideal: you need to rotate the earpieces so they fit in.
Heatshrink on end of earguides gets loose easily, but doesn't fall out.
Attached blue cable is fraying from the box.

Besides that, they sound great, and everything else is fine.

Hey Guys.

I'm thinking about giving Logitech another shot for in-ears (i am using Sony MH1/ATH-M50x/Sony MDR10-rbt on a MWZ a15).
At the moment, i could get the UE 900 for ~210€ from the Netherlands via DWI or a pair of used Triple.fi 10 for 190€ from Germany.

I already had a pair of Triple.FI a few years ago but send them back because the build quality was horrible.

How do the UE900 fair in this regard? Cable is a concern, but not the main one, since with the TF10, it was the housing that broke quite fast.
Judging from the last few posts, DWI seems reliable, but are the 900s worth the 220€ or should i look for something else?
I don't want it to be TO bass heavy, cables need to be changable.

Thank you for the reply dazzerfong, I am very tempted to buy these headphones and your comment has put me at ease.

Do you know if the black still comes off on the outer housing?

Probably, but it hasn't for mine yet, and I've had it for more than a month now.

hi need advice, can someone tell me what is the best cable for ue900s? can give a bit more bass.
thanks

Cables, if they even make an impact, can only take away sound, not add to it. If you want more bass, EQ or try taping the small hole. Failing that, a new IEM might be in order.
