Sorry to hear that the diabolo cable did not work out for you. I am the guy who recommended those to jant71 previously in this thread. I must admit those cables can be very uncomfortable when worn over the ear.  I wear mine hanging straight down with my TF10s . Since you had your TF10s reshelled that is not possible for you. Anyhow glad to hear that the Fisher cable is good match.

No worries. Getting them reshelled was kind of an impulse buy. I actually had a comfortable fit from the stock but wanted to cheaply find out about customs. Reshelling them has brought the mids out a bit. I'm guessing from deeper insertion. Otherwise Fisher did an excellent job maintaining the original sound sig.

Managed to dig up some specs which were provided by Effect Audio on the Pearl V2.
As Quoted:
 
" Hi there,
Thanks for your interest, and Pearls are made of silver plated OFC,which has a grade of 6N.
And the Pearls are braided by 8 wires."
 
Anybody have more build pics and sound impressions?
For the price, it seems to be a real bargain dosn't it.
And they look great too.

I would say the build quality is pretty good, both sections of the cable seem sturdy and are quite flexible (the thin part is very flexible). The thicker bit does suffer from a fair bit of scratchy microphonics though but at least I think they would take a bit of punishment. I got them with no memory wire which works better for me really, but then I do wear them straight down with the 'flip-flop mod'. The sound is pretty good, a bit clearer and better soundstage than the stock cable in my opinion. I also bought the Diabolo cable at the same time though and that is my usual preference.

I have heard that the sonic qualities of the Diabolo seem better.
Pity it's overconstructed, and microphonics seem to be an issue.
