I've posted already on the Headamp GS-X MK2 thread and I need help

My Pioneer Elite SC-67 does not handle the input from the output via preamp GS-X MK2 via a Fisher T100 pre phono from a Technics 1200 mk2

Do I need a step down attenuator?

What input are you using on the SC-67? The SC-67 has a phono input but you CANNOT use that with the hookup scenario you described. You have to use an Aux (line-level) analog input.

I'm sure that's 47k ohms. But 600mv??! Line level is usually 1-2 V! So yeah that sounds like a bad design. Does your GSX preamp have a variable output? Try using that instead of the fixed out.

When I bought the Pioneer Elite SC-67 6-7 years ago it was for home theater use.

The GSX has a loop out but same problem too much power for the input

looks like its time for a new AMP

I'm not sure if this is really the correct thread to ask, since this isn't specifically a setup question, but everyone who helps on this thread is so knowledgeable to begin with that I figured it would be a good place to start. I came across a tonearm in some storage I was tasked with clearing out today, and I can't immediately identify it. It was in a box for an ATP-12T, but that's obviously not what it is. Anyone know the make/model?

Update: It's a Syntec S-220, an old broadcasting arm. I'm missing about 2/3 of the counterweight system, unfortunately.
