Hi Guys,

Hope this hasn't been covered recently, so please let me know if it has.

I am looking for a nice Tube amp for max. 600 Bucks, just to get a feel for tube amps.

Until now im using my Lake People G99 which is VERY linear and accurate sounding and i like it alot but i want to expirment with some more coloured sound. I am not a big Bass head and like smooth mids and clear highs.
Musical Prefrences are mainly Jazz, Classical, RnB, Lounge....

Headphones beeing used Are HD600s, SRH840s and DT880s....

I heard the HD600 and DT880 sound fantastic wiht tubes and that just got me really intrested :)

Greets,

No.  Sadly not.  Though if you willing to ship me one I'll report back on what I think!

With your 600s and 880s the Woo3 being OTL would also be a good match.

Ive heard good things about the elekit tu-882. You can get it as a kit with either all solder work done for around $445 where it takes maybe 10 mins to just screw together, or you can get it as a plan PCB and populate it yourself for $360 I believe. I've been reading a lot about them. Seems like amazing bang for the buck. Skylab gave it a great review, and its compact.too.

I have reviewed 12 tube amps in that price range:
