Good news for you, yes, you can do it yourself and ever use a better connector.
Take it as a chance to learn how to mod.

Also It can work. If someone from forum order we can discuss. :) I am gona order one more.  I hope they all are original. anyway will see.

If they aren't you can always ask for a refund, and lets be real, it's not that much of money, I mean, it's 27 dollars, that's what my ******* socks cost lol.

Always be aware anyways.

I would, but there's no necessity to. you can just search it on google as "how to fix earphone connector/connections" as well search it on youtube for a video guide.

Are you able to solder? If yes then we could point you to suitable replacement connector and then it's simply a matter of soldering red/white/black to correct contacts. If you can't solder - then perhaps sacrifice a cheap pair of earbuds, cut the connector with several inches of wire attached, splice red/white/black and then electrical tape.

When looking at a chart for Tip compatibility can anyone point out the IEM's that would have compatible nozzles with T1E's?

Pistons2 vs Ttpod.

Pistons treble is to much for me, way to much treble.
Mids ... Some one stole them?
Bass. More bass.
The main problem i find with the Pistons vs the Ttpod is that i cant listen the Pistons for a long time and at high volumes, its fatiguing and they sound like some stole the mids, pianos, guitars sound more distant.

Rating both ala Joker, i would give the Pistons2 5.5 points and the Ttpod 6.5
