Do all sony hybrid tips have foam, or just a particular kind?

Not all hybrids have the foams, the normal ones don't. This one is like the hybrids with foam inside to make it a bit stiffer and keeps the phones more secure in my ear. I'm not sure what the model is. They came with the XBA3s

These sound really good out of the Kogan>NX1 combo. No mid bass hump or bleed. The NX1 provides that extra fullness it was lacking with just the Kogan. Fantastic value

Here's some more songs that sound great with the TTPOD if anyone cares to listen! They are worth your time. Though my T1-E are failing me :frowning2: , shows em' off really well. Dum Dee Dum(Jikay rework) used to be my favorite song to play with their bass a while back, but I have found other bottomless bass songs that simply rattle with the T1-E :D

Weird. First time I've heard of 'em. The sony hybrids I've used are awesome on the right iem (m6 for ex). There used to be a guy who hung round headfi few years back that made custom hybrid tips by cutting up earplugs and stuffing them into silicon tips. I might still have some pics of 'em.

Here's a post where someone made some home made hybrid foam tips

Mine have no problem with the jack, just the rare(for any earphone) and stupid loose driver/internals buzzing issue when it is past a certain volume. It's so annoying...

Yeah... :/
I'm hesitant to buy another pair as I wanna get some or one of the big dogs! Price wise, for me.

Speaking of big dogs, I ordered the FXT200. Should be here in two weeks or less? Dual titanium drivers tuned by JVC. :xf_eek:

These get my stamp of approval, fairly neutral, airy sound, well Rounded in all areas. Way better then the JVCFXZ200 so I wouldn't be surprised if it can also beat the FXT200, JVC is gimmicky afterall.

These are Just kind of picky about tips so I've been experimenting a lot. The housing is pretty big, I thought it was IE800 size but that's maybe cause they share thr same shape.

They are fun/energetic because of the treble extension and subbass. If I were picky I'll want a bit harder hitting subbass but these aren't they far off for it to be an apparent flaw.
