Up close the E500 looks a little cheap...they still use a plastic housing. Pictures can be cruel.

We'll have to see when they are finally released....many times something that doesn't look good in pictures looks much better in person.

I don't think these are going to fit me, but if it turns out to be a nice way to get a feel for the UE10 sound signature, not in a perfect way, but sorta kinda a general idea, then I'd like to add them to the family.

They're pretty ugly if you ask me. I never liked the design or fit of the older Super-fi line though, and this pretty much mimicks that design. The headscratcher for me is why was the first place for pictures to be hosted be on an ipod and ipod-related gear website and not this forum; the number 1 headphone forum in the world? Another weird choice by UE...
