hi i just got a new pair of triple fi 10's and i love everything about them except for the cable. its too thick and too much memory keeping. i was wondering if it would be possible to swap these out with a different cable, possibly something like the cables on westone iem's? if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions they would be much appreciated. thanks. btw, i should note that I would like to not have to spend too much (over $50, possibly up to $100) on this upgrade. thanks again.

Get those cables. It's what I use on my TF10's and they are gold compared to the stock cable. The mids are more forward (quite a bit more for me) and the bass is punchier. They don't really tangle much (unless you ball them up) and they feel almost like silk string.

You can look into one of those cables for the TF10 that Jaben sells. The ES cable I believe has the pins a bit thicker than the UE so if you keep it on long enough you will enlarge the pin connection.

I'm interested in buying a cable replacement for my TF10, but I'm confused on the one to buy. Jaben or westone?

how does the jaben cable differ from the ES cable based on pics? They looks more or less the same

How would I go about trimming them? And in what area do they need trimming? Seems like one post says length while another says they are thicker? Thanks again. I love the westone cables. It was one of the reasons I bought their iems

Just use a pair of wire cutters. Cut about a millimeter off of them. I wouldn't worry about trimming their diameter, they are thicker, and the regular cables will no longer fit after you insert the Westone cables, but you won't want to go back afterwards anyway.

Am I right to say Jaben ES8 fits the TF10 without filing but it is Jaben OEM and the quality of the cable is not as good as Westen ES2? Anyone owns 1 of each to comment on the SQ?
