could you give a bit of an impression/comparison between the sabre and master?  

Well at the moment ( i spent ages trying fit ) not had much more than a couple of hours with them and not tried all the filters , so i have put in the same colour ( gold ) as i would have used in the sabres .
My impressions so far are that i can clearly here the sabre sound but so much more controlled, detailed and acurate with ( for me ) just the right amount of soundstage, not too wide nice and evenly spaced.
No sibilance as yet ( sure il find some on a poor recorded track) .

These are just my first impressions and im definately not the best at explaining what om hearing so i hope it helps.

In short sabre sounding but much more refined .

I do wish trinity will explain all the colour to sound on the filters , green blue black are not used on sabres and not in the booklet supplied.

yea i was hoping bob would do that before he left for can jam.  mine won't be here for a bit but it would be nice for those of you who have them to know what the changes should be without having to try each one.

Anyone expecting delivery of both master and Icarus III can confirm whether they both share the same shells or little change in the shells?......TIA. sorry if its been already discussed.

Take a close look at the pics of each IEM on the site; they are the official pics and should represent each model accurately based on the images of the Master we've seen here so far. You should be able to clearly tell they're different shells. Look at the placement of the screws and how that creates a small nub towards the bottom of the shell in the Icarus III. While the Master is a more basic crescent-like shape, I consider the Icarus III to be a teardrop crescent-like shape. IMO, the shells look quite different visually, but nothing beats hands-on experience

Thanks bob cant wait to hear my masters with a balanced cable through fiio x7/ am3 ....and to everyone the gold filter is still my fav on both master and sabre think there the same to my ears .

Ugh, delivery woes. Sent a PM to Bob and an email to Jake (his responses to inquiries that people have posted here have been less than encouraging, though...) but I probably won't get an answer til next week given that Bob is at Canjam. 
 
For some reason the mailer recalled my hyperions that I ordered using the 50 percent off code they day they were supposed to be delivered. No idea why, as I ordered a pair of Deltas and my payment went through before they shipped out. I was really looking forward to having these to tide me over til the rest arrives, and play around with during the weekend... and now I have the flu to top things off...

What percentage is shipped etc out of the 290.

Not sure how the Hunters are being produced, but had to contact Jake a couple days ago to find out if it had been shipped. Am having issues here with postal carriers not placing packages in correct mailboxes. He told me that my Hunter would not be shipped for another 2-3 weeks, so I must be one of the 290. For reference my order number was in the low 600's. Would have thought they would be producing them sequentially, 0001, 0002, etc. Evidently not.

That's a strange one as we would not have recalled and all postage is pre paid. We will look into it and get you sorted.
