TRINITY - PHANTOM Series - New thread + WORLDS FIRST PUSH PULL HYBRID IEM!*

Well... To be fair I haven't emailed them every week either so that's maybe why I haven't gotten any updates

I feel annoyed too, believe me, I ordered my Hunters way back in June 16, arguably one of the first, yet I've yet to see any sign of it. But no matter, I've been busy playing with my other toys while these get ready, and then soon I'll just sell some of my older stuff

For me it isn't the delay per se, but the lies. First the master would ship 10th of march, then guaranteed by Bob it would ship at the end of march at the latest, and last week I decided to mail wether the Masters will ever ship to me and they told me "Your order will ship next week", I'm skeptical about receiving a mail today that it's on my way to me. I ordered the Hyperion with the 50% off and that was processed directly, why they did not throw in my Master and save on shipping costs and make a costumer (that is still investing in the company after all the ****) happy is beyond me. Kudos to your calmness though, wish I could say the same, alas I don't have many IEMs to play with

They dont seem to want to make things better after they way they handled this at all.
Since Bobs apology there has been NO difference in how they are handling it. Back to the same old telling us the usual.

A few weeks over schedule and slight over optimism by the company director does not constitute a company lying to you. All companies operate with a certain layer of secrecy and this is actually essential for their survival. If anything I think this company has shared significantly more behind the scenes information than any other company I have ever dealt with. Many, many other companies push back release dates and delay launches but do not get the same vicious attacks that Trinity have to take on the chin over and over again. I know some people will argue that "they have my money", but this was always the agreement, money upfront for significant savings. It seems to me like some people on this forum want to have their cake and eat it too.

For those throwing out crazy speculations about the company going bust, don't forget that Trinity Audio is propped up by their parent company Rock Jaw Audio which is a well established company.

Anyway if you really can't wait, then get your money back and move on. What I can't understand is people who post everyday threatening to cancel their order. Obviously they are not serious or they would just do it. The fact is that they want these massive savings and are reluctant to give up the amazing bargains. I am nearly positive that some of the recent offers by Trinity are being sold at a loss in order to appease people.

I don't mean this in any way to stir up the conspiracy theorists but to try to bring calm to the thread.

Free hugs to everyone!

Well Bob did sat they are being shipped as they are made after the apology and now he saying they will have 150 ready for shipping next week. Which means they are not shipping as they are made but are made in batches and then shipped.

Very nice thought. But what about those of us with the KS campaign that purchased products based upon the expectation of a reasonable time delivery and Trinity's reputation based upon what we learned from this thread and their promises.

I don't know how you equate a few weeks to several months delay as reasonable when the company keeps providing updates that are not accurate.

Not much more than a week ago, Bob promised to be more active in the thread with information. since then He came in with one single short comment that left more things unsaid and no concrete information

I understand delays but the company creators are providing the information in a public forum and he has control over what he releases.
That's the issue. He keeps telling us X but it never occurs.

You're right. But I think people are saying to cancel to get Bob taking some action. And they do that cause, for sure, they don't wanna miss on these probable bargains. But also cause they believe the iems are of great quality.

I think frustration comes also from the fact that management and delivery is handled sub optimal, to be kind here. They seem to have more time to have high quality photo shoots with some hipster models and shoot fancy videos not really saying anything, as well as putting up more and more fancy product descriptions stating how awesome their iems are (using a vast amount of superlatives that is) than delivering on the promises, means shipping, and giving people the chance to judge for themselves if trinity can deliver on all the high claims for their products.

So the complaining is a sign of intrest and hope within the people, they want the company to have success and do not want to give up. That's my interpretation after all.

And let's be clear here. Trinity gets critisized a lot, I'll give you that. But, Trinity has become such a success, with a huge number of orders, as we all know, because of the customers and especially headfi. Cause lots of people eventually end up reading posts on headfi before they decide on buying new gear. So Trinity's business model is kina based on the headfi and customers in general. They're just not that big and settled to ignore customers just yet (just kiddin). But, unfortunately, that's what they do right now. Long term supporters are turning their backs, movin away from trinity. That's a dangerous situation here. I think you're givin this situation not enough severity and importance here.

But I could be wrong, just my 2 cents.

Well, to be short:
The more you promise the more you have to deliver and the more people will critisize you if doesn't happen, period. Ignoring this won't help anyone.

Well, today & Monday are both public holiday days in the UK for Easter, so don't expect any announcements until next Tuesday. Despite all the delays I don't begrudge Trinity staff spending time with their loved ones. Peace to all faiths :raised_hands:

Just got my Vyrus! Ordered the Vyrus last Friday (express shipping), cancelled the Atlas Delta on Wednesday(full refund) because I don't like the design and received the Vyrus today (Belgium).

Thanks Bob & Jake.

Happy Easter everyone.

So many people don't get that many of us aren't full of headphones/iems and are waiting on many long and unreasonable delays. I get that you shouldn't be quick to turn your back on a company, but when it's this long, with so little communication and vague replies, as well as straight up lying about your shipping dates past the point of being reasonable, people have the right to be angry. When you defend this kind of behaviour, you're only telling them that this is acceptable and they can continue lying and delaying as long as they want since they can get away with it. Not to mention it's detrimental to all customers, including yourself. No one should have to expect delays nor lack of communication of this magnitude.

Brooko,
do you have any power or intention to request an honest and prompt "confession" from a Head-fi sponsor?
If yes, can we see your "nasty side in a hurry"?

Guys -- I understand that there's some frustrations, but let's all take a moment to relax and not attack each other.

Joe,
I'm asking from you the same as from Brooko.

Has no Head-Fi member gotten a PM6? I can't possibly keep up with this thread, but I haven't seen a single picture.
I feel like this entire shipping situation has been poorly handled, but I refuse to beat that dead horse. I am disappointed, but I honestly hope that Trinity corrects the problem and no harm comes to their business from this. Before the PM4 they seemed to have a shining reputation of excellent value and customer service, but since then it seems they bit off a good bit more than they could chew. I hope they learn from their mistakes and improve their processes in the future. I will not cancel my order, however. When they come they come, I just wish I knew when that would be.

I'm beginning to wonder about these Trinity iems! After all a phantom is a ghost??? and Icarus, didn't he fly too close to the sun and his wax wings melted? Just supposition here, but the names are......
Still, I emailed Jake about my overdue Masters and got the 'being shipped this week' message.
Not sure about Trinity at the moment, do they have stock or not? Is there any truth in the messages coming out from them or not?
Just my take on it though!
Still I'm sure that it will turn out ok in the end, just not sure how long it'll take!

I wonder how many people have received that email from Jake and how much Masters have actually shipped. I guess with easter they don´t work anyways and Bob won´t show up either.
