TRINITY - PHANTOM Series - New thread + WORLDS FIRST PUSH PULL HYBRID IEM!*

Well, my advice is still to have patience and try to find something else to occupy your time with. Those three iem's that I mentioned were amazing, especially the build quality. That along with the dozen tuning filters that come with each pair make it, in my opinion, a no-brainer when it comes to waiting a little while longer to get them.

What did you compare them with? Amped or unamped? Just trying to get a better understanding what they are like and their overall characteristics. Over the years l learned to see that people here like different sound and flavors.
I like clear, neutral sound signature while some may feel it's boring. Anything too energetic and bassy l find fatigue. Fit is also something l would like to know more about.
Judging from the photos both the Icarus III and the Master are pretty much taking over the whole concha. I know this might be a hit and miss for some but can you tell us about the isolation too?

Someone here with order # 2 from KS also hasn't received anything. Coincidence?  Hmm maybe.
Out of all Head-Fi members around here we so far have less than 5 members who received their Masters, none got their Hunters, PM6 and Air, unless they are so busy that they didn't post any updates.  Cables and earphones in stock were shipped same day so l don't know what to think anymore.

Yea what I said doesn't make sense to be honest. I have some friends in Asia who ordered PM6/Hunter/Air but nobody get them yet. I don't know what to think either just try not to doubt them

I didn't bother fussing. I gave my 0.02 re: pm4. not a real issue right? no worries, I'm not so scandalous like crazy fanboys lol

But he was comparing the sound of the LZ A4 to the PM4.  PM4 = I no leik / LZ A4 = Leik heckin much.

it's nice to actually read up on things and understand what's actually happening. sharing a personal testimony is helpful. hopefully that can help people be realistic or walk towards realistic decisions and move on with the least drama or complaint. just my take.

My comment wasn't directed towards your initial post nor was I trying to discourage the comparative behavior. As I said, any talk here regarding Trinity Audio stuff is fine, positive, negative, comparative, that's all good. I hope you guys didn't take it that way.

I didn't have any problems with how that series of posts started; it was a comparison regarding the PM4 and another offering in a similar price bracket (and more importantly, actually shipping to people), totally valid. That's fine. But subsequent posts (not saying they were made by you @1TrickPony) made no mention, that's where it irked me a bit. Not only that, but I'm sure you can see the value of a statement like mine to avoid the thread moving into a discussion regarding other IEMs without reference to the main thread products, which is what it seemed to be doing. I felt if someone didn't pipe up, it was going to be the LZ-A4 vs. Magaosi K3 Pro vs. some other new hot IEM with no mention of Trinity products which is where this thread shouldn't be going.

Say what you will about the Trinity products in comparison to others, whether positive or negative opinions, just don't leave Trinity Audio out of it. That's all I'm saying.

EDIT PS: Also, only 50 more pages until 1000. It ain't looking good for delivery of anything before 1000. Or at the very least 975. The thread's moving along at a pretty brisk pace. I hope @Bobtrinity can find some time to actually give accurate detailed answers. What exact products are shipping out to where, from where, on which exact dates? What's the number of items you're shipping out (for example, how many IEMs across all the lineups went to the Alabama distribution center?), what exact models are left that still need to be built? Tell us about any delays, we can handle the truth. And I KNOW you have the sort of details and numbers we're all asking for. In no world would even a small company not keep track of production and shipping volume logistics. We're not asking for customer data, just numbers. If they've reached the distribution centers, let us know that's happened and how many are going out per day. If they haven't reached the distribution centers or are stuck in customs or something, then tell us that, because somebody in your organization knows. Everyone just wants straight evidence-backed answers. Like I've said about commenting on the state of things now or comparing other products, just give us actual updates, whether negative or positive.

Whoops, boy this post ran long. I should shut up for a while

I have been following this thread for quite a while and im one of the lucky one's who had recieved my master, and as i have said in previous post these are amazing iems for the money ( already gave slight description on them admittedly not the best as im not the best at going into detail) they are as i have said probably the best value for sound and build i have ever bought and i have spent hundreds!.
Once again i understand frustrations i still have some deltas and Hunter on order and maybe im appeased a bit because i have recieved my master.
I also understand that waiting as many months as most are saying is extremely patient but guys we all ticked the subject to change box which is a requirement on purchase and understandable on pre order, manufacturing goes wrong unless estabilished product nearly every time ( i have experience in this) .
Bob has already said that they bit off more than they can chew and they will refund all money if your patience has come to an end .
I dont understand the delivery situations though ?? i e shipped not shipped ???
I have posted this not to start an argument whos right whos wrong but to try and say hang on in there! as i feel they are making fantastic products at marginal cost :grinning: which obviously reflects because there orders have gone through the roof and the back log is huge! .
For me i would rather wait for a product that A is going to be fantastic quality and B not cost the equivilant of some competitors :grinning: so i will be hanging on in there.

To all those who have not recieved i do understand your frustration but i will patiently/frustratingly wait for my Hunter as i dont believe il probably get better for possibly double my money and that well i do have to respect trinity for :grinning:

Doesn't matter really. Hyperion tracked parcel came within a week, though even untracked shipments usually come within a week

It mattered for the PM4 shipments. The tracked ones all came at least a whole week earlier if not even more than that. Plenty of people from here waited a full month for their untracked parcels, including myself.

I wouldn't cancel a pre order after listening first hand to three of Trinity's models at CanJam this past weekend. V2, Master and the best one in my opinion...the Icarus III. Just step away from this thread, have a beer and relax. You'll be VERY glad when you get your goodies.

People don't seem to get that crap happens, and can't accept that nothing is perfect, and they're the same ones who keep harping on the same thing every day, and not to name names, but I think they need to learn to be flexible and have a mind.

I'm glad at least one of them already has, and now I shall go enjoy my beer and my Sabres, until my Hunters arrive, and I know I will love them.

It's not that people can't accept that nothing is perfect. What I think is upsetting most people is the misleading information that seems to be bordering on outright deceit. Having said that I've decided to wait a bit longer before cancelling and besides, this thread is pretty entertaining in a masochistic kind of way.

I guess you're not one of the people who has been told over mail "next week" every week. We don't need someone with the moral high ground in this thread, there are mods for that (and karendar :D just kidding). Last day for my Master to ship before the whole "next week they'll ship" circle begins again. I have no doubt the products will be fantastic as they've been so far from Trinity, but damn, it's hard to not get annoyed.

Well... To be fair I haven't emailed them every week either so that's maybe why I haven't gotten any updates

I feel annoyed too, believe me, I ordered my Hunters way back in June 16, arguably one of the first, yet I've yet to see any sign of it. But no matter, I've been busy playing with my other toys while these get ready, and then soon I'll just sell some of my older stuff

Well, let me jump in.
I see your point here. You're right, most likely, constantly complaining doesn't bring us the gear any sooner. But maybe it brings some awareness to Bob, so he sees the need to be completely honest with us for once. That's all people are asking for.
As it's your right to tell us to stop complaining, it is our right to complain. It's a free world.

Moreover, we have different situations here. There are folks who have several iems to listen to and the trinity gear would just be the fifth, sixth or whatever iem. So, I guess for threse people, it is easier to stay calm and patient. Others, like myself, do not have several iems for backup. I've been using some cheap (not 100% working) old ones for the last couple of months cause my trinitiy iems should have been in my ears for months now, and I didn't wanna by some temporary gear, cause BOB told us several times shipping shipping. Additionally, some of us have been waiting for over half a year now while others maybe hopped on the train just recently.

So, you hopefully understand my point of view, that all that crap that's happening right now with this thread stems from the different situations people are in and the constantly wrong and misleading information from Bobtrinity and Jake, period.

Thanks for reading my complaining and whining,
cheers

Btw. : I was told last monday or tuesday my Master was in the process of being shipped, this monday or tuesday, Jake told me sorry, yet once more, and that it would ship this week, which I don't really believe in.

So, that's that.

Well... That sucks, it really does.

I hope you get your stuff (or refund) soon

I have 655 pounds locked in Trinity and given the current developments, I am waiting to know about a full refund because even if the IEM will be great. I am tired of it honestly (I gave them till Easter). I guess whoever feels the same should shut up and ask for a refund at this point.

That's the awful thing. The amounts tied up based totally on trust as well. Thing is, the statements aren't forthcoming or even accurate so whatever is really going on is really not funny and it is perfectly understandable that people are saying something.

For me it's just £100 so I'm not that uptight but a little erked at the attitude and lack of info. Never again for me.
